Other participants:

Institute for Energy Technology

The Institute for Energy Technology (IFE) conducts research for a better future. Since 1948, IFE is the frontrunner in international energy research. The knowledge we have developed has saved the petroleum industry several hundred billion kroner. We have contributed to the development of ground-breaking cancer medicine, new solutions in renewable energy, more energy-efficient industrial processes, zero-emission transport solutions and future-oriented energy systems.

Lead researcher of the participant: Sindre Hassfjell, Ph.D.

Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry

The Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry, Czech Academy of Sciences (IMC), is an internationally recognised research and educational organisation in the field of synthetic polymers. Its mission is advancing the area of macromolecular chemistry, organic chemistry, macromolecular physical chemistry and macromolecular physics including their related interdisciplinary fields with the purpose of acquiring knowledge about relations between structure, properties and function of macromolecular systems and about controlled creation of supramolecular structures.

Centrum výzkumu Řež

The research organisation Centrum výzkumu Řež (CVŘ) was founded on 9th October 2002 as 100% daughter company of ÚJV Řež, a.s. The main aim of the research organisation is research, development and innovations in the field of power generation (especially nuclear). CVŘ owns unique research infrastructure such as experimental research reactors LVR-15 and LR-0 and technological experimental circuits. Significant modernization of the infrastructure is being realized within years 2012-2017 due to realization of the SUSEN project (realized in the framework of the Operational Programme Research and Development for Innovations of the European Regional Development Fund). CVŘ is a member of the European Energy Research Alliance (EERA) and since 2010 represents the Czech Republic in the EERA managing body – Executive Committee, thereby participating in the realization of the Strategic Energy Technology Plan (SET-Plan). CVR is also a member (and co-founder) of the Technology Platform Sustainable Energy CR.
